West Wimbledon Primary School is a two-form entry, community primary school with a nursery for children aged 3-11. The School is maintained by the London Borough of Merton. In September 2014, we took on a third Reception class, as a “bulge” class, to help meet the need for additional school places in our part of London, and that year group is now in Year 3.
We are both proud to welcome and enriched by children of all abilities, religions and cultures.
We also have one of Merton’s three bases for children with Autism, and ours is called Treetops. This base provides specialist education to children with autism and is an environment in which our expert staff assist the children to learn and grow to achieve their full potential. Children in Treetops also access our mainstream classes and are full members of our school community.
From September 2016, we have provided after school childcare provision for West Wimbledon children, which runs from a dedicated space on the School site, and we also operate a Breakfast Club. Details of both, may be found here.
