Welcome
'Believe, Achieve, Empower' are three core words which are so important to us at West Wimbledon and integral to our vision and values for all our children.
Believe - We simply believe in every child and help them to reach their full potential and goals. To do this, each child must believe in themselves. We commit to making our school an engaging, fun and safe place to learn and play. At West Wimbledon we want all children to feel a true sense of belonging and know that it is their school where they can shine, make mistakes and feel happy.
Achieve - We foster an environment where children not only achieve academically but where they are also encouraged to celebrate and recognise developments and successes in all areas of their personal growth. We pride ourselves on our excellent attainment outcomes. In May 2025, our Year 6 mainstream children achieved above the National average in all areas (reading, maths and writing) and 83% of our mainstream Reception children achieved the expected 'Good Level of Development’ compared to the 68.3% National figure.
Empower - We empower our children to use their new learning and knowledge in order to be heard. We help all children to understand how they feel about themselves, their choices and their future at school and beyond. We are committed to empowering our children to become the best they can be. We want all our children to feel confident and proud of themselves when they leave West Wimbledon Primary School and to feel excited and empowered to engage in the next stage of their learning.
Please navigate around this site to discover what makes us so popular with local families, and to stay informed of the range of curriculum approaches and extra-curricular activities we offer.

I couldn’t be more proud to be the Head teacher of this beautiful school where we get to know every single child as an individual.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to West Wimbledon in person soon, and demonstrate our commitment to providing local children with the highest quality of education, and the best possible start in their educational careers.
With very best wishes,
